Lisa D. Ortiz, DC completed her Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She attained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1995. Dr. Ortiz served as a faculty member at New York Chiropractic College and has enjoyed private practice in New York and Maryland, including a multidisciplinary practice in Columbia, MD.
Dr. Ortiz is Graston Technique certified and has completed post graduate work in whiplash traumatology and chiropractic rehabilitation. This specialization focuses on the retraining of appropriate muscles to strengthen the spine and to prevent further injury. The patient is trained to complete the individulaized rehabiliation program at home, which helps to engage the patient in his/her care and promotes overall health.
She is a firm believer in giving back to the community and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek as well as a board member of the Frederick Police Activities League.
Dr. Ortiz lives in Ijamsville, MD along with her husband, Dr. Christopher Hinchman, and their son Caden.
Dr. Christopher Hinchman
Dr. Chris Hinchman received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1993. Following graduation he served as a faculty member at New York Chiropractic College until 2000 when he left to open a private practice in Maryland. Currently, Dr. Hinchman is the office manager for Spring Ridge Chiropractic.
Dr. Hinchman lives in Ijamsville, MD along with his wife, Dr. Lisa Ortiz, and their son, Caden. He enjoys watching his son grow up, Caribbean vacations, and playing golf.
Dr. Amanda Ngui-Yen
Dr. Ngui-Yen is a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic with Physical Therapy privileges. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 2005. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at The University of Western Ontario in Canada.
Dr. Ngui-Yen believes that chiropractic care including muscle therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and proper nutrition can provide an effective solution to many health conditions and injuries, as well as enhance and improve human function.
Dr. Ngui-Yen has been practicing at Spring Ridge Chiropractic since September of 2006. She currently resides in Frederick, Maryland.
Dr. Adam McCrea
Spring Ridge Chiropractic is pleased to announce the new addition of Dr. Adam McCrea. Dr. McCrea graduated from University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2005. While at the University of Buffalo, Dr. McCrea spent time as a personal trainer at the Buffalo Athletic Club and Firm Fitness. He then chose to enter chiropractic school at New York Chiropractic College and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
While in school at NYCC, he was fortunate to be a student mentor for a large portion of his clinical experience at Monroe Community Hospital. His clinical experience proved to be a very unique experience as it taught him about the care of the geriatric population as well as patients with terminal illness. Dr. McCrea is a certified Graston Technique® provider which focus's and treats a variety of acute, chronic, and post-surgical soft tissue conditions.
Dr. McCrea is happily married and has a variety of hobbies and interests which include hiking, wakeboarding, and attempting to play golf.
